| First, I want to let you know that this is not peters. Second I would like to thank our coach and management for the slap in the face. It feels good when that happens. If you don't know what I am talking about get a clue. How is it possible that we have three offensive players making 1st string all-stars and only one defensive player. If you ask me we only have one offensive player who should deserve to go, and that is Ja'Ton. Other then that the rest of them had an average season on a team lead by a less then average QB. If you dissagree with me just look at the stats. The only good games our QB had were against less then average teams. I mean our defensive was giving them great field position and they could not win the game againts the only hard team that we played. In the end our leadership wants to praise them for that kind of game play. Honesty are you so clueless to believe that Biggs could not have done just as good as a job as Shane if given the chance. Everybody on that team knows that our defence is who won those games for us. I just don't understand how our management could choose 3 1st string all-stars on offenives and only one on defense. I guess the defense is not in the buddy system, i only wish you could have told us about this system before the season started. All this opens my eyes to something else also. I was wondering how you could let a coach that had control over this team go, but now I know, because he would have never stood for the shit that is going on. All of you know what I am talking about to, our team is like a farm now there is no organization. It is sad when we have to watch the coaches disrespect each other on the sidelines. I hope everyone who reads this knows that I am not the only defence player who thinks like this, just because they will not admit it. Also, we know that we can not rely on the offence to score in this weeks game, and the only chance we have to win is if the defense scores more points then the vipers. Our defense is the only good thing that our team had going. Shane is not the only reason our offence can not score though, he has a halfback who is to damm slow and fat to get out of the back field. Honestly, I don't know why the coaches have not addressed the issue. When somebody is not cutting it you have to sit them on the sidelines. OC don't you think it is time to let Reggie run the ball at least he can out run a defensive lineman. I just don't know what to say except good job leadership, and go back to the books offensive coaches because you have to change somthing is we are going to win. P.S. the offensive line coach is doing a great job. Also, I want to give props to all the defensive coaches!!!!!!!! |

First and foremost, if you are truly a player on this team....you have slapped each and everyone on this team in the face with your cowardly disrespect for them by not only airing your dirty laundry to the public, and also by not handling this like a man with your teammates face to face.
The all-star selections are not made by the coaches or management. They rank the 7 best players on both offense and defense. It is then submitted to Jared N. Jared makes the decision who makes the all-star team. Every team has players that get shafted, we are not the only team that does.
There were quite a few players the were slighted by the all star selections and yes those players are mainly from defense. Hughes broke the record for picks in a season...Hardenburg and Fred shut down bout everyone they faced...Berreta, Bud, and True played balls out...Tony could easily be argued for the best safety in this league...Hect, James D., and Habib were outstanding...file a complaint for each one cuz they all could be there.
Write a complaint to the commishner if you feel that someone was slighted or favortism was shown. He will more then likely tell you why things broke down likw they did.
A true teammate does not bash his team like a coward behind a fake or no name. The Phoenix is a family of brothers that should be giving all that we have for each other. We are only as weak as our weakest link, so I truly hope you are not one of our teammates. If you are...you better look in the mirror and decide if you do not want to be a teammate and part of this family...save us the trouble of you bein a cancer and stay home this week and weekend. We do not need this shit before the biggest game of the year!!!

| Well said Shane. I would hope, if you are a Phoenix player, that you would apologize to the coaches and your teammates for your uninformed posting. Neither management or coaches "pick" the All-Stars and three seconds of research could have revealed that "secret" to even the most uneducated among us. Additionally, Management did not let our former head coach leave, he resigned, to the surprise of all, including his close friend Coach Funke. Let us not be distracted by internal strife over meaningless awards before our biggest game of the season. We are one team, doing the best we can. Either you are with us or against us, but airing complaints anonymously on a team forum never effects change. If you have a complaint or concern, call or meet with your coach or management, do not air your libelous dirty laundry before you try your best to ascertain the truth. |
